With 20+ years in the legal industry, while practising as a lawyer I was also at the forefront of business development within the firms I worked for, (I was a BD Director at Brodies LLP amongst other leading firms). As well as acting for clients, I played a key role in shaping and executing growth strategies—identifying new opportunities, deepening client relationships, driving firm-wide revenue expansion for which I was recognised in the Legal 500.

I understand the challenge of balancing billable work with business development—because I’ve done it myself . My approach is strategic, practical, and designed to integrate seamlessly into a lawyer’s daily routine.

The same fundamentals apply equally to Barristers Chambers, l headed up the Business Development teams at two leading Chambers in Lincoln’s Inn. New Square Chambers and Erskine Chambers, roles in which I was recognised in the Legal 500 UK Bar.
